KANAE - Hanging scroll of calligraphy by Miyake Soho 1964

Single kanji letter of ‘Kanae (Tei)’ meant originally ancient Chinese tripod kettle suggesting the sign of heaviness, power, or estimableness. By a precursor of avant-garde calligraphy in Okayama, ‘Miyake Soho’ (1920-2004) as signed and written at the attached wood box. Some stains as seen.
