Japanese Seto ware two-toned tokkuri flask

Actually more than two-tone as four-toned (white, gray, amber, and gold) thin-make sake flask of elegant proportions in comfortably light weight for practical use. With unintentional unglazed spot like a figure of “Kannon” (Avalokiteshvara) beyond the ridge of amber glaze, and with ‘kintsugi’ gold restorations at spout as another spectacular landscape. Showa period, 20th century. approx. H 17cm (6.69in), D 6.3cm (2.48in)
