SNAKE – Buddhist hanging scroll of Mount Koya

Particular Buddhist calligraphy with a single stroke of brush on paper, expressing a snake of the shape of a single Sanskrit character mentioned Dainichi Nyorai (Mahavairocana), with the signs of ‘hoin’ (the highest-rank priest) of Kongobu-ji temple Daien-in in Koyasan (Mount Koya) of Shingon-sect.
