Hishaku – Bamboo water ladle for Japanese tea ceremony

For use of ‘furo’ (wind furnace) as classified. Without any sign of craftsman, but for sure it’s a high quality vintage ‘hishaku’ made with aesthetic skill and consciousness as seen, and probably a wabi tea utensil related with Senke school according to its particular cut of ‘kiridome’ (end of stick part). Refined shape with details and feeling (comfort) for the elegance of master’s movement for tea. The condition is as seen. approx. L 41.5cm (16.33in)
