白磁光悦楽茶碗 – 雪峰 / SEPPO – Koetsu-Raku type chawan by Takayuki Marui

‘Yingqing’ (bluish white) porcelain bowl as an ‘utsushi’ (re-creation) piece of Raku chawan named ‘Seppo’ (lit. Snowy summit) by ‘Koetsu Honami’ (1558-1637).
Another ‘wabi’ highlight of bluish white backlight filtering subtly through the deliberate cracks of such porcelain texture which were once intentionally broken then perfectly restored by his sophisticated technique. No leak.
Please enjoy the quality (specially, of its texture) of his handmade chawan of white porcelain, and also its utility luxury for advanced everyday use besides special occasions.

approx. 12cm in Diameter, 8.5cm in Height
